// HDV Cam // Now kiddies.. feast your eyes upon god's creation... the HDV camera! I swear this gagbet is totally AWESOME! The quality you get from it is shit good. The results of shooting on a this lil baby ---> <img src="" alt="Digital compositing - title sequence"> // Ideas - new environment..... perhaps? // I find myself having more ideas then usual here. I wonder if it's the change of environment. Not that I'm complaining.. of course. Well, good ideas coming round, I'll just have to work extra hard in my execution. // Japanese Festival // 3 chinks and 1 org jepun hopped into the train (after a half an hour delay) to go to their destination of the day... Boxhill TAFE and Town Hall. All .. er.. at least 2 of them ...were excited about the shit load stuff that they were hoping to buy. Once we got out, we weren't sure where exactly the location is.. therefore, we did the next best thing! ... follow where everyone else was heading. XP Luckily for us, our instincts were in top shape and we got to our destination after a short walk. First thing first >> FEWD! Toriyaki, tako, udon, sushi, dango, doriyaki thingy,..etc. hahahahahaha.. ok la.. we didn't really eat that much.. only 2 sticks of toriyaki and 2 sticks of dango (what Jin called a tasteless ball of starch ^^; ) We then headed to find the stalls after paying a small entrance fee (if I knew earlier, I would have brought my yukata along and then will be able to get in for free.. >P). June and I got most fascinated with the yukatas being sold. There was this really beautiful orange yukata we liked... until we saw the price tag.. 85 aud.. T_T Who's gonna spend so much on something which they prolly won't wear more than 3 times? Heck, I've only worn my very own yukata once and loaned it to others 3 times.. -_-" In the very end.. I went back empty handed. Mission FAIL!.. --" // Da Vince Code // Decided to have a break from work and go watch Da Vinci Code with out what suppose to be 10 people, became a tiny group of 4. Sad to say, the book was a lot better than the movie. I was yawning my head off at the cinema.. That could also be due to the fact that we were sitting in front row (which btw is not as bad as the front rows in the cinemas in M'sia) and we're sitting on big comfy chairs. Only part which made me wince was the part where the monk putting on the chalice. Ouch.. >.o // RMIT's reputation (??) // 2002, word got round that RMIT is well known for their Multimedia Design. 2004, rumours spreads that RMIT wa having financial difficulties. 2006.... here I am. From what I've gather. I find that the lecturers from BAM (Bachelors of Arts, Multimedia) know their shit but why is only now that they decided that their FINAL year students should know how to make a gantt chart, how to produce a good proposal..etc?? -_-|| I got copies of BAM's past graduates cd-roms and I found out why 2002 was RMIT's prime time. Simple... It was then that their graduates produced excellent work. In comparison with the following years, the rest is crap. And in comparison with TOA, the lects are RMIT are damn lenient weii.. I actually feel like I've done a whole lot more when I was doing MMPS to the major project that I am currently working on. // Cocoro Japanese Pottery & Cafe // This place have wonderful deserts.. *drools* See for yourself.. :3 // Wabi Sabi Salon // Hurhur.. this restaurant has very nice atmosphere especially when you sit outside in the cold.. XP For starters, we had daikon salada - green salad with thinly sliced Japanese white radish with Japanese sesame mayo dressing. Salmon aburizushi - lightly scorched salmon sushi. It's like slightly grilled on the top of the slice and on the bottom, it's raw. Butterfish no nitsuke - Poached butterfish in a thin-bodied Japanese stew. // Holiday?! HOLIDAY! :D // Goshhh.. finally holidays.. I don't know why but for the last few times that I stayed up all night working on my projects.. I totally MISSED my "high" stage! Damn fucking annoying weii.. It's like I just go from crappy to down right crappy.. -_- I was even on the verge of getting a fever. (Maybe I did.. considering that I was popping panadol like sweets) O.o Cis.. just when holidays start, the adapter to my external HD dies. Leaving me with no photos to post up.. Thus the delay of this entry. Bleh.. Things to look forward to for the rest of hols:- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Meet up with Jer before he gets too busy for me. -- watch "Over The Hedge". -- bring Jen, Zhenyang, Ethan, Sahyo and 2 others to Cocoro. -- reformat my lappie. -- -- -- -- go Caufield and ransacks Mel's place.
